I goes there to get my motorcycle driving licence.They just make things difficult for all of us who didn't pay bribe them.As I am a job holder and cannot give much time to get my things done. So I paid them to get things done quickly and conviniently. But its a common practice in BRTA as I have seen these kinds situation a lot there
They demanded an additional 10,000 taka for my driving license, warning that even if I passed the practical test, they would not be approved unless I make contract with them.
I passed the exam, but they asked me 20k for the plastic card copy of DL saying govt is currently not delivering card immediately
They threatened me to fail me in the fitness test without the bribe

After completing my driving license exam both the verbal one the written one and the Practical one i needed to submit my papers and pay my fees the government fees but when I try to do that I wasn't allowed to and they said they lost my document and I couldn't find my document even after searching through the whole building I went from ground floor to the second floor to the third floor they told me to go to different floors but at last I didn't find my papers after that I paid the bribe and after paying the bribe I got my license within 2 to 3 days so it was my experience in the brta Ekuria branch.

Paid the brive through broker for driving license, did not need to sit for exam and got the license. It was emergency for me. Initially I tried the right way, but did not get any cooperation.
Its impossible to get a driving license without bribe. I had to contact a dalal, who handled all my documents submission (actually no docs required except nid but in actual process it requires a load of documents). Later on the driving day, i just follow the formalities and eventually given fail on result, but after the day end the brta dalal operator changed the status to pass, and i passed the exam. I faced various harassment while trying to complete the registration process myself. Eventually, a person outside the office demanded BDT 3,000, saying that the work would be completed if I paid. Having no other option, I was forced to pay the amount. I request that the matter be investigated and appropriate action be taken.
It's so normal nowadays that without giving bribe or contracting broker, even good driver can not get licence. That's why i had to hire a broker and get licence.

Lots of documents need to be verified to see if my replacement engine is correct for my car. The verification happens in a specific room. That room officer wants bribe. If not given, they can just disqualify me, saying that a random document is not there.
I had to give an extra 5k to get a driving licence. It is the unwritten system there. Whether you can drive or not does not matter. Most people cannot drive but they get licences by bribing.
Normally driving test is a three step examination. First you have to pass the written, then viva then practical to qualify for the test. I successfully passed the written and viva, was confident about my practical too. But in the practical exam line i found lot of people who were also passed in previous written, viva but got failed in practical because of not contacting a dalal. I got nervous but still confident about my driving. They didn’t said anything, in the evening result came out and i was fail. Then i contacted with a dalal and without even driving a car or bike i got passed. I have to gave hime 4000 for just passing in the practical.
SMS came from BRTA to collect digital number plate. Zone was BRTA purbachal. There was a long line of cars and some local man who are definitely in league with BRTA office offered they can bypass the long line and can collect the number plate within 10 mins. Was in hurry and didn't have time to wait for 2 hours in a line, so paid the amount. The BRTA office definitely delays the process wo that people get forced to pay the bribe.
I wanted to get my driving licence the right way, but when the system demands ৳12,000, what choice does an ordinary person have?
I failed to get a new professional license. They asked for 4500 taka but i can't. So that they failed me in written exam.
Had to pay it, otherwise I'd definitely fail the practical test.
I buy a bike and for driving licence they charge me 7000 taka. But I have to appear at exams and driving test.
