I went to them for a family certificate. They tried to convince me it is a very lengthy process, and I can't get it on my own approach. But if I pay them what they're asking, there will be no trouble. They will take care of everything for me. They said if I tried myself there will be a lot of hassles like, I will have to take my whole family with me, I willl have to pay to their advocate to sign my documents, they will not allow the documents if signed by any other advocate, and many more.
I have to pay the extra money for updating the document.
When I tried to create a trade license following the confusing instructions on their website, I got stuck. Later when I went to the city corporation office, one guy said I had missing documents (although I had submitted everything). Then I went to another guy who said they will handle it, and I'd have to give them "khoroch pati"
Came and threatened to hike up municipality tax almost 20X during assessment. Said we had to pay a small portion of it and they would not assess that way. It was extortion. But not much of a decision, given there was no recourse.
