Every time when we go to renew our trade license and get the physical copy of the renewed version, the peon asks for 1500 tk. If you dont want to pay him, then he told that the secretary is busy and cant sign in the renewed license; come tomorrow, and it's repeated. for several days.

Came and threatened to hike up municipality tax almost 20X during assessment. Said we had to pay a small portion of it and they would not assess that way. It was extortion. But not much of a decision, given there was no recourse.
