Someone told me if I give the amount to the officee then he processed my work immediate. Otherwise it takes much time or might be canceled.
Although the official fee for mutation (separation of land records) is listed as 1,120 Taka at all land offices, this rate is not actually implemented instead, they process mutations based on a rate exceeding 8,500+ Taka.
The situation occured during land mutation process at baunia land office. My plot is in mirpur 12. Though i had every document required, an official requested an amount of 45000 tk. i rejected that proposal anyway. But the problem is - the work is lagging a lot due to not engaging them with bribe. Thanks in advance. Keep up this initiative.

They called us and said that officer won't sign the hard copy unless you give money. And thus they filled the form from me 5 times. Each form fillup took 2-3 hours. Finally i contacted AC land sir and gave my introduction, then it got signed.

I wanted to do mutation of my land. I have applied in land bd website. All my documents were legit but it was declined by land office. Then after sometime while leaving the office, a stuff of the office called me outside the office to talk. He offered me that it will be done if i pay them 9000 taka.
I went to the Sub-Registry Office to buy a piece of land from my own sister. As usual, they sent me to the Municipal Land Office to pay the land tax. The land tax was only 120 taka. Then the officer at the Land Office asked me to give them some money for tea and snacks as well. I had no choice but to give them 250 taka. They are collecting bribes like this from everyone, not just from me.

Whenever I visit land office located in CTG to pay land Tax of my own, the tax on book and paper show 30-60 Tk or 100 Tk at max. In time of paying that tax the officer demanded 500 per payment and calling extra fees as "Cha nasta Khoroch". And after bargaing, the amount stood at 300 tk and if you disagree to pay cha nashta khoroch then you will never be able to pay tax in general criteria.
