When my father went to the BANBEIS Bhaban at Palashi-Nilkhet, Dhaka-1205 regarding my father’s Retirement & Welfare Allowances matters, they would keep the file pending for a long time. As a result, even after his retirement, there was a delay in receiving his Retirement & Welfare money. So, he was forced to pay ৳50,000 in two installments. They usually ask for the money to be deposited on cash at a shop near the office, so that there is no record or evidence of the payment. He said that ৳11 lakh will come in, but only ৳3 lakh has been received as govt processed. Now that person is asking for another ৳50,000. Saying, he has my father NID. so there could be a problem.
It was impossible to change my brothers name and his wife's name, untill i paid the amount
I went there to obtain a BMET clearance certificate for traveling abroad with an employment visa. They are asking for an NID for registration, which I don't have since I have been living abroad for 30 years. Those without an NID have the option to register manually at the BMET office using their passport. one officer demanded 8000 taka in addition to the standard government fee for completing this.
A famiy person was abducted and arrested by police when no one is arround in the house. He had no case nor an warrant, they just came and abducted him to a Police bit. Then the police demanded 4 lac taka not to file a case against him, communicated by the source. They eventually agreed to receive 2 lac taka. Which we refused. His only crime was he supported a political party in a village. And he didn't commit a single crime. Even police couldn't show anything. They kept saying He was a politician and we know that he is not doing any politics for last 3 years. But we have nothing to do. It's an order from above. We refused to give the bribe. He eventually shown arrest.
Police delayed my clearance untill i paid the bribe .
Deliberately asked for money .
The gas connection in my home was facing problems from the source end, demanded 1.45lacs for fixing it (which should've been free or could ask for some service charge). I paid, now I have gas at home like I never had before. Eventhough the country is having a gas crisis. Also, had to use a (Neta'r link and reference).
Affidavit is required to file a Written Statement by Law. ৳200 is required to have the Affidavit done.
সরকারি ফি হিসেবে রেফার্ড পরীক্ষার্থীদের সংযোগ নামে একটি ফি নির্ধারণ করা হয় সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে (সরকার মানে কারিগরি বোর্ড)। যার পরিমাণ 700 টাকা। সম্মানিত হিসাব শাখার কর্মচারী আমার থেকে দাবি করলেন 850 টাকা। প্রতিনিয়ত উনার কাছে এমন রেফার্ড পরীক্ষার্থীরা যায় তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র এবং ফ্রম ফিলাপ করতে , উনি এভাবে 100 টাকা করে এক্সট্রা নেন সম্ভবত। কারণ আমার কাছে যখন চাইলেন খুব স্বাভাবিক ভাবেই। একটা সরকারি পলিটেকনিক এর হিসাব শাখার একজন, সরকারি বেতন নিশ্চয়ই পান? তার পরেও দৈনিক ১০ জন শিক্ষার্থীর থেকে ১০০ টাকা করে নিলেও ১৫ দিন শেষে প্রায় ১৫০০০ টাকা এক্সট্রা ঘুষ নিচ্ছেন।আমার পক্ষে প্রতিবাদ করা, প্রতিষ্ঠানে অভিযোগ করা সম্ভব ছিলো না, ওই সময়টাতে আমার নিজের কাগজপত্র গুছানো ছিলো অধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

The officer demand money to verify my application. Application isn't verified by the officer until you gave the demand money. They called it 'cha nastar taka'.
he demand ase e boksis from every one and i wait and see every one paying unless he is not signing so i had paid also .. he is in counter on the ground floor . you can easily find him because there only one persion who will recive your document first .
সরকারি সড়কের কাজে জমি অধিগ্রহণের ক্ষতিপূরণ এর অর্থ উত্তোলন করতে হলে ডিসি অফিস এ সরাসরি দীর্ঘ দিন যোগাযোগ করে জুতার তলা ক্ষয় হয়ে গেলেও ২ বছরে কোন অর্থ পাওয়া যায়নি, কিন্তু তৃতীয় পক্ষের মাধ্যমে তাদের চাহিদা মোতাবেক অর্থ প্রদান করলে ২ দিনেই চেক হাতে দিয়ে দেয়। ডিসি অফিস এর কর্স্বাতা ক্ষর করে আর চোর এর মত এদিক ওদিক দেখে কেউ আবার কোন রেকর্ড করে না তো!
পাসপোর্টের সাথে এনআইডি তে ১০ বছরের বয়সের তফাত। এখন এনআইডি ঠিক করতে প্রতি বছর ১০ হাজার করে চাচ্ছে। অর্থাৎ ১০ বছর ঠিক করতে ১ লাখ লাগবে।
আমি বাংলাদেশ রেলওয়ে টিকেট কিনতে গেলে এভেলেবেল থাকা সত্ত্বেও আমাকে ১৬০ টাকার টিকেট ৬০০ টাকা দিয়ে কেনার জন্য বাধ্য করা হচ্ছে।
VAT registration is officially provided by the government free of charge. However, when I went to the Mirpur VAT Circle to obtain VAT registration, I was told that the process would take a considerable amount of time. As I urgently needed the VAT registration certificate for my consultancy work, a female government official from that office told me that the registration could be completed within two days if I paid money. I asked her what I needed to do. She told me that she would take me to a secretary and that I would have to pay him BDT 10,000. She further said that if I called him, the work would be completed immediately. That night, I met the said secretary through the female official.
Went Eklashpur union porishod for a Character certificate. They said it will take a month. Then demanded 1000. I paid and got the certificate within 10 minutes.
Probashi Ministry high officials They have taken 17 Core for each license for Malaysia syndicate. I was offered too but I refused. The 25 Malaysia syndicate has been established as of today and their entry fee was 17 crore
Since 2021 SSL payment getway held my payment money 220k taka for no reason . then I contacted with a Dalal ( RAB officer ) who helped me to release my payment money ,then I've paid 110k (50%) . then I leave my country within 2 month and will never go back . average Bangladeshi people are very nice untill they have chance . imagine a third party payment getway holding peoples money more over 150 cr taka for over 4 years without customer permission and so many of e-commerce scammed with peoples and nobody cares .then I realized that I would be ruined by this corruption system . if you have any of scoe to leave this country then please leave at least for your childrens
Waited around 5 months after applying. Since I needed them for my master’s abroad. I was in a bit of a hurry. I went there and explained my situation. They said they would look into it. Another month went by and nothing happened. Went there again then i was approached outside secretary office. Paid the “agent of the secretary” the requested amount and the confirmation came within 2 days. I got my papers on the 6th day. I would have waited if I wasn’t in a hurry to send my papers but the good thing is I’m leaving this country.
