They keep refusing me to take documents for no reasons and there was a computer er dukan in front of the office they said if I give them 2500 they will refer me to them and everything will be fine then I give them money later they just write a code in the back of my form ( I think its was a signal) and I went back to counter and show them my doc and told them his name and surprisingly everything went well then . It was a horrible experience as a student , I prayed to god that I will nevee came to this place again.
নতুন পাসপোর্ট পাওয়ার জন্য নিজে নিজে সব আবেদন করে ফর্মের সব ঘর যথাযথভাবে পূরণ করার পরও সামান্য বাড়ীর নাম না লেখা নিয়ে রিজেক্ট করে দেয়। পরে বাইরে এক দালাল ২ হাজার টাকা নিয়ে একই আবেদনের (পাসপোর্ট অফিসের মতে ভুল, অগ্রহণযোগ্য আবেদন) পাসপোর্ট আবেদন এপ্রুভ করিয়ে পাসপোর্ট রেডি করে দেয়।

As I am a resident of Mymensingh district, passport officer refused to process my passport preparation at Tangail passport office. He told me to go to Mymensingh office whereas I had already paid the passport fee online by selecting Tangail regional passport office. However, a broaker standing outside the office asked for bribe to process the work in this office at that day without hassle. I had not enough time to run here and there to complete my work. So, I had to pay 1800 tk after a lot of bargaining. Then, it went smooth. That's how passport office works.

All my documents are legit and according to the requirement. But still the passport officers collectively created a system where they don't process files without the marking of the "dalal" ( Ansari, Shop keepers, and others). I reported to the police present at the Dhaka west passport office. The police was unable to help me as he said it is regulated by a powerful syndicate.
Im using passport from 1994. I have NID, 3 expired passport, all documents are placed, but they also demand Certificates of Nationality. or demand 8000 tk to process (Bosila Passport office)
I was very ill that's why I need to go to India. I didn't have any passport so I went to passport office meherpur.. at first we tried to have our passport in a regular way but they find different irregularities in our passport application form... Then after sometimes a security guard came and we understood that if we give them bribe then they will easily do the process for us. As expected we gave them money and our passport process was easy. We had to do it because my father was also ill and didn't feel well that day.

My mother’s bangla name was slightly different than English one. But in my all academics the name is same. The officer denied to take my documents but afterwards I got a middleman who took 5000tk I bargained to 3500tk and paid it. And my work is done. Ironically the same officer took my documents this time 😂 Whatever, this system
Me and my spouse went to uttara passport office previous year for submitting documents to issue new electrictronic passports for both of us. But we forgot to bring the main copy of our marriage certificate. We had the photocopy of it but not the main copy. So we were trying to look for the solution. Then one of the gaurd provide us a number and asked us to call there. Whenever we called the guy from the other side asked approximately 6000 taka to solve the issue. But it seems like a trap to me. So i refused and came back home just to bring the main copy and took the qeue again.
A police officer demanded we pay him to get our passport. I applied for the passport without any dalal.
Went to make new passport, they said my parents NIDs are not visible, but I can see the photocopies are clear, so gave them new copies, then following next day asked for NOC from my job place, so I stopped going there and took help from Dalal (medium) and everything is okay, they sent me to direct photographsy section.
They do not accept application if bribe is not paid and demands documents which are not really needed by law like cabin-nama main copy, they do not allow photocopy of cabin nama even. though for those who paid bribe earlier they didn't ask for any document. I had to pay the bribe in the end and then application was accepted
