Stretcher and medicine saline
I took my cousin to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in a very critical condition. Unfortunately, there were no stretchers available without payment. Some brokers were also waiting for money to provide assistance. There was no medicine supply available in the Neuromedicine Department either. As my cousin was in a very severe condition, I had to pay some money to a ward boy, after which he arranged a stretcher and other necessary assistance. It was very disappointing to see such practices in a government hospital. The intern doctors were aware of these issues, and I also observed that some nurses appeared to receive commissions.
