They asked me to pay a Reaker charge instead of the unnecessary fine
I was parked in a side road where ots of other cars were parked. Ti came and started giving cases to everyone. Everyone paid 1-2k
I was stopped and taken on the side of the road at Baitul Mukarram signal and then asked for papers followed up by the tyre size issue where he asked for 3000tk fine and then we settled for 500tk in his pocket
I estimated 500-1000. I was driving along Kemal Ataturk Avenue from Badda and I was stopped and was told that I horned a while back in a horn free zone. As far as I remeber, there were "No Horn" roadsign along the road. I was told that it will go to court and I have to pay 30,000 taka at court if I wanted my license back. And asked if I have anything to say. They took my license. As I did not know what the law actually states, I called my uncle (who is also in DMP). He said there were no such thing and talked to the traffic sergeant. The sergeant became angry after the call even though he returned my license and let me go, asked me repeatedly why I had to call someone.
My all papers are ok. Traffic police stopped me and he checked and then he told me my all papers are om but my bike headlight is damage and headlight is important then i was driving in a highway! I told him its not my fault before some tomes a auto just hit on my back as a result it happen! He don't want to listen me for this he wanted to fine me 2.5k! I have no other way! After that i paid him 500 and leave the place
Wanted to file a case of 10k. My driver agreed. Then the police said check again. My driver agreed for a 10k case after consulting me. Then police said bring 2500tk and no case will be filed. My driver said he cant as I as owner didnt agree. Then police said ok give 200 tk to the begger. Then my driver did that without consulting me and got rid of the case!
I took a u turn and immediately stopped by police on a friday morning. I wanted to argue that the sign is obscured behind a canopy. He didn't go the usual way. Wanted to give him 200 but wanted 500. Then I got down that I want the official ticket and want to pay official. He stopped me and took 300.
I had all the correct papers of the car, was in the normal speed limit too. a single traffic sergeant stopped me. after seeing that everything is fine, he told me that i wasn't wearing a seatbelt and a 10,000tk fine will be slapped. he then asked me to get down from the car and kept fidgeting with his device and then said "ki korte chaan? mamla dibo naki ekhanei sherre felben?" then he asked for 2,000tk but I said i'll pay him 1,000tk max. he took it and i left.
Traffic police stopped me in mogbazar u-turn signal, and intially told me to give 15000tk for the tint in my rear glass which was factory tinted by Toyota, later he negotiated for 5000tk and took the money in his wife’s nagad account. Otherwise he would have seized my car documents.
While found out they were wrong to charge me with fine, instead of 2500 taka fine they demanded 4 packets of biriyani as taking bribes is illegal.

Few days ago at approximately 6:00 PM, our office vehicle was stopped by a traffic sergeant opposite Police Plaza, Gulshan. The officer asked which office the vehicle belonged to and asked the driver to have the office contacted. During the interaction, the officer indicated that a weekly arrangement should be made with the office. No specific amount was mentioned to us at the time. We did not agree to or make any such payment or arrangement. I am reporting this incident because the request appeared to be for a recurring unofficial benefit in connection with allowing the office vehicle to operate without such issues.
On a CNG, I was heading to my university campus, that day. Then, when his phone rang he parked his vehicle to recieve the call and trust me it took at most 10 seconds for him to hang up. All of a sudden, a traffic sergeant came before my CNG and asked for his documents which were all good. The traffic sergeant demanded ৳5000 for not to charge him with a false case of NO PARKING in front of me. Also, the officer asked me to leave. Instead, I convinced the officer, "If u charge him with a false case, he'll stop driving and to pay your due, he'll hijack you anytime. You'll suffer, I swear." The other constables asked him to let my driver go and thus I kinda saved him from bribing this moron.

I just opened my helmet on side of road. The police gave me mamla. And after requesting he said he’d reduce to half. But actually he took the damn money
