A few days ago, I visited the Dhaka North City Corporation office to apply for a new trade license for official purposes. I had all the necessary documents with me, and the officials checked them and confirmed that everything was in order. However, they asked me to pay BDT 2,500 as an “office cost” to get the documents approved. I had already submitted my application for the trade license online. Later, I received a call from the office asking me to visit them again. When I went there, they once again asked me to pay the same BDT 2,500 “office cost,” claiming that it was required to obtain approval for my application.
The legal dispute regarding the illegal occupation of the land has been successfully litigated and is currently in its final stage, pending only the magistrate's signature on the final order. This signature represents the absolute last administrative step of the court proceedings. Once the document is signed, the court will officially issue an execution order to local authorities, allowing law enforcement to legally evict the wrongful occupants and physically restore possession of the property to my father. The Magistrate demanded a bribe of 50K Taka to finalise the order. We had to pay the sum cause we didn't have any other choice they were just changing the date for the last two years.
So the guy took out the Khatiyan and took it to an officer for him to update my information. There was no queue and the whole process took 2 minutes. Yet he demanded money saying that he made my process faster. So then I paid 200 taka and left

at June 8 August in IVAC ,Jamuna Future Park it happend . For avoiding the extra bribe I have submitted my all ddocuments to the Indian High commission the previous week .After that I got an appointment at 7th June I had appointment. I was an attendant main patient my mother who had faced the IVAC . Because of their tendency / visa sindicate they told me to come at 8th June . I went there but nothing happend I asked them why I have to pay extra charges they were too much corrupted that I had to paid another 1820 taka to them .

My father got a plot from Rajuk in purbachal new model town back in 1999. He passed away in 2018. When I went to Rajuk to ask them to re-register that plot into our names the women told me to hand over our original documents for registration. I didn’t know anything back then so after the registration process which was another hell I went to get our original papers back she said I need to pay 50,000 taka just to get my original papers from Rajuk’s storage unit. I refused and negotiated a bit but she got furious and shouted the hell at me!
Due to financial issue, land related tax and other works were due. It was meant to pay the fine and make arrangements to sell the land. They showed and made to run here and there to complete the documents. Officers were not present during office time almost every day. Then settlement was done with their amount and all the works are done in 2 weeks.

I needed to Attest my Drivers License. He demanded 1000 as bribe for the boy who will search volumes to find my Drivers License issued in 2022. Bullshit. Everything is online. Just to write - Attested - Porichalok Sign - BRTA Sign - they took that money to give me the attested paper same day. Also wasted 4hours of my life. I also paid official fee of 240 TK for attestation.
Wait wait wait.... It is a positive story. We applied for 4 passports, and, got them without any ghush demands. (There was a huge queue, but that's normal in Bangladesh) ---- It was a good thing. And this story should be highlighted too!!! Please make this option available too- where we can say - we didn't need any bribe to get our service. Keep up good work.
He refused to give our mutation document, after the recent survey in Narayanganj. Even threatened us to register our land with less amount of land, if we don't negotiate. He and his accomplices demaded 50k. I want justice of such blackmailing and GHUSH. (Here for submitting complain you're also bounding us to submit our complain as unverified allegations... !!)
Because we had our own house in dhaka, i had to pay 1000 taka for police verification during my passport processing. Those who don't have their own house had to give 500 taka. He told me to send it by bkash if I dont have cash or he might delay my report. So i had to pay it as soon as possible.
My all papers are ok. Traffic police stopped me and he checked and then he told me my all papers are om but my bike headlight is damage and headlight is important then i was driving in a highway! I told him its not my fault before some tomes a auto just hit on my back as a result it happen! He don't want to listen me for this he wanted to fine me 2.5k! I have no other way! After that i paid him 500 and leave the place
I had police verification. The police asked me to come to green line bus counter instead of him coming to my house . He then demanded taka but I refused. We had an argument. My mother eventually intervened and agreed to give him 1k
It was in 2017-18. So, I forgot about it mostly. But we waited and waited, but didn't get all the required signs; the endless line. Then we went out to buy something to eat. That's when the shopkeeper asked us why we are here and we replied. He said, he has a contact inside who can do it if we give them some money to run errands for us. ----- We went from distant district. So we paid. And the task was been completed smoothly without any more hassle or waiting endlessly. (I forget the amount of money I gave him. 500 tk is my guess from faded memory.)
