আমার শ্বশুরের একটি ফ্ল্যাট মিউটেশন/নামজারি করার জন্য একজন সাব-রেজিষ্ট্রি কর্মকর্তা বছরের পর বছর ঘোরান। সেই কর্মকর্তা পরিচিত ছিল তাই তাকে বলা হয়েছিল। সরকারি প্রসেসে মাত্র ১,১৭০৳ বলা হলেও, নানান ভোগান্তির ভয় দেখিয়ে আমার শ্বশুরের কাছ থেকে প্রায় ১ লক্ষ টাকা নিয়ে প্রায় ৪-৫ বছর পর নামজারি করে দেয়। সেই ব্যক্তি নিজেকে পরহেজগার লোক দাবি করে, অথচ তলে তলে এই কাজ করে। আমার শ্বশুর তাকে টাকা দিতে বাধ্য হয় কারণ অন্য লোক মারফত বা ডিরেক্ট চ্যানেলে গেলেও ফাইল ওই লোকের সাইন ছাড়া পাস হতো না, পাছে ওই লোক ফাইলে গন্ডগোল করে দেয় তাই টাকা দিয়ে মিউটেশন করা হয়েছে।

They are called in a area where no people were around. the S.I asked 100000bdt to free us, as his parents were not that eligible to give the money the police demanded, his mom came with 20000bdt and his father had only 300bdt for transport, they took all of it and let us go. The fact that in geneva camp they sell drugs openly but the ones who sell aren't captured. Every month 2-4crore bdt is sent to mdpur DC from camp druglords.
বিগত বছরের খাজনা বকেয়া ছিল ২০ টাকা কিন্তু সেটা অনলাইনে পেমেন্ট করার সিস্টেম থাকলেও ইউনিয়ন ভূমি অফিসের এপ্রুভাল না পাওয়ায় ক্লিয়ার করা যাচ্ছিলো না। এই ক্লিয়ারেন্স পেতে তারা ২০০০০/- দাবি করে। এই ঘটনা প্রত্যেকের সাথে ঘটছে যারা বকেয়া খাজনা পরিশোধ করতে যাচ্ছেন। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে নওগাঁ জেলার ধামইরহাট উপজেলার আগ্রাদ্বিগুন ইউনিয়ন ভূমি অফিসে। আমি একজনের কাছে জমি কিনেছি ২৫ শতাংশ। এবং বিক্রেতা যখন খাজনা পরিশোধ করতে যায় তখন এই সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হন। শেষ পর্যন্ত তারা বিক্রেতার কাছে ১৫০০০/- আদায় করে এবং পরে কর আদায়ের রশিদে দেখা যায় বকেয়া খাজনা ছিল মাত্র ২০/-
জরুরি পাসপোর্ট আবেদনে পুলিশ ভেরিফিকেশনের জন্য বিশেষ শাখার কর্মকর্তা বাসায় এসে নথিপত্রে কোনো ত্রুটি না থাকা সত্ত্বেও ১০,০০০ টাকা জোরপূর্বক দাবি করেন।

Monthly ghus we have to pay to VAT office (various officers) in order to sign the vat Chalan. When one office is transferred, he lists down all registered company names along with the ghush amount so that the next office can continue the collection. It's a norm in all VAT offic across Bangladesh.
I went to the land office last month to collect the DCR, the government fee of which is only 1100 taka, but the person there demanded 70 thousand taka from me. Besides, he would not do this work. Later, we were forced to negotiate with him and convince him to pay 50 thousand taka. After 15-20 days, he gave us the DCR copy.
There was a mistake in my application where I wrote my old handwritten passport's number in my application form when it asked if I had any previous passport. One officer checked my application and fully rejected it saying I'd have to apply for a whole new application by paying another 5k on the website. I went outside and one broker asked me what happened, I told him everything and he said he can fix it for 2500 tk. I tried bargaining but they wouldn't budge and no other way was left, so I paid him. The person works in the office of 17 no. Ward,had asked for 100 tk, or I can't take my updated certificate,then I told him that I have only 50 tk,then he asked for that 50.So,I had to pay
My renewal application was refused more than once for minor errors (Infact the issue might not be considered an error at all). A small photo copy and printing shop outside the passport office offered they may help for a certain amount. Apparently they have connection inside the office. I paid and my application was immediately accepted afterwards.
