After 6 months, he cancelled the previous application and applied for new application but demanded 10,000 taka to give me the learners license so I stopped the process. After 3 years, I still don’t have a driving license.
I paid 11,000 for the driving licence and I got it. the funny thing is I can’t drive 🤣🤣

It is a common practice at all Imamganj shops and markets to pay a certain bribe instead of having to pay the full bill. Usually, the WASA bill collector goes door-to-door to collect the dues. While this is a benefit for the vendors, it proves to be a burden on WASA in the long run who cannot bring about advanced solutions to the recurring problems due to dishonest usage.

I went to the Union office of my village for birth certificate and character certificate. After registration and giving character certificate, they claimed money (150 tk) as printing cost though everything is borne by govt. They actually take the money and keep in their own pockets. Nothing is paid to the government. This amount may be little for individual but thus they are illegally claiming money from many people for this minor service even though everything is free according to government rules explained in Jatiya Batayan Seba
I paid 10,000 tk for a driving licence but he only gave me a learner licence. I couldn’t appear for the exam on the mentioned date as I was abroad, since then no resolution provided to me.
I estimated 500-1000. I was driving along Kemal Ataturk Avenue from Badda and I was stopped and was told that I horned a while back in a horn free zone. As far as I remeber, there were "No Horn" roadsign along the road. I was told that it will go to court and I have to pay 30,000 taka at court if I wanted my license back. And asked if I have anything to say. They took my license. As I did not know what the law actually states, I called my uncle (who is also in DMP). He said there were no such thing and talked to the traffic sergeant. The sergeant became angry after the call even though he returned my license and let me go, asked me repeatedly why I had to call someone.
He first asked for Tk 35000, which I then negotiated to Tk 25000.
Would like to apply for BIN. And the official ask to pay him 5000/- to create a BIN certificate within two days! Without payment it will be pending!

My brother went for driving exam.. everything was fine still they marked him as fail but there were some people got passed but they were not enough qualified.. later on he came to know that those people came through middle man or dalal.. so he found someone like that and paid 4000 taka.. and got lisence
15 th number Ward Shochib ( Date: 2026 Feb), I needed family certificate urgently for my scholarship to fpreign country, but he tried to delay only for money. Not only me, other people of that ward also faced similar problem.

Trade licence inside Dhaka South City Corporation now its open secret without bribe you will not get the licences. Even online system they invaded manual signature. Without in office getting signature of the officer in person must visit.
