I went to the land office last month to collect the DCR, the government fee of which is only 1100 taka, but the person there demanded 70 thousand taka from me. Besides, he would not do this work. Later, we were forced to negotiate with him and convince him to pay 50 thousand taka. After 15-20 days, he gave us the DCR copy.
There was a mistake in my application where I wrote my old handwritten passport's number in my application form when it asked if I had any previous passport. To Renew the fire license of my business institution the inspector of fire demanded 60000. As the license is going to be online so they are demanding that huge amount of money to make it online.

My renewal application was refused more than once for minor errors (Infact the issue might not be considered an error at all). A small photo copy and printing shop outside the passport office offered they may help for a certain amount. Apparently they have connection inside the office. I paid and my application was immediately accepted afterwards.

The SI asked me to bring my educational certificates copy, character certificate from the Ward Councilor, A copy of my electricity bill. I sent the documents through my elder cousin to the police super office. The SI asked for 2000-3000 Taka. My cousin paid 2000.
I had a mistake in my mother's name on my birth certificate, so I went to the Union Office to correct it. They charged me 1,000 Taka extra. I argued with them, but in the end, I had to pay; otherwise, they wouldn't correct it.

In Pahartali, Chattogram, EPI vaccines for children are provided at the Chairman’s Office. The EPI card clearly states that both the vaccines and vaccination card are completely free. However, they are charging 100 taka just to make the card, sometimes even more based on the family’s financial status. They also demand an additional 20, 50, or 100 taka during each vaccination visit. When I protested, they said, “We don’t charge this in villages, but here you have to pay.” I refused to pay and left. This is a serious issue that should be investigated. If EPI services are officially free, people should not be forced to pay unofficial fees. I also have video evidence of the incident.
The situation occured during land mutation process at baunia land office. My plot is in mirpur 12. Though i had every document required, an official requested an amount of 45000 tk. i rejected that proposal anyway. But the problem is - the work is lagging a lot due to not engaging them with bribe. I went to bcc for my real estate plan processing and the guy asks for 5 crore to clear the plan and he said he would support me and take care for me anywhere but i directly refused and this got him upset and warned me that he will see how i take the permission without giving him the bribe
Officer asked me money for correcting my name and parents name on JSC, SSC, HSC certificate. He said it will be faster if I give hom money otherwise the file will be on backlock for months. At the end out of fear I gave him money and it worked out.
