A famiy person was abducted and arrested by police when no one is arround in the house. He had no case nor an warrant, they just came and abducted him to a Police bit. Then the police demanded 4 lac taka not to file a case against him, communicated by the source. They eventually agreed to receive 2 lac taka. Which we refused. His only crime was he supported a political party in a village. And he didn't commit a single crime. Even police couldn't show anything. They kept saying He was a politician and we know that he is not doing any politics for last 3 years. But we have nothing to do. It's an order from above. We refused to give the bribe. He eventually shown arrest.

paid the NID name correction bribery for my mother-in-law's NID due to urgent passport renewal. The officer initially demanded 12000 BDT, then after realizing urgency he demanded 3000 BDT more and threatened by saying "if you even go official or unofficial procedure in any other way, it will go through me and I will see how it can be approved." eventually forced to pay in total of 15000 BDT and corrected the NID just within 1 hour after that.
