In July 2023, when applied for an Birth Certificate English copy, Union parishad sectretary was not cooperating to get the English Birth Certificate. They were claiming that there was a server problem. After waiting for some days, the female secretary offered for money with other person. They claimed around 2000 or some less or more. I paid that because I was waiting for the birth certificate. After paying the money it was issued within a day. Note: When they want to get an extra money from people they said that they have server problem. And then delayed they works. Later indirectly ask for money. After giving money they do it with a day.

paid the NID name correction bribery for my mother-in-law's NID due to urgent passport renewal. The officer initially demanded 12000 BDT, then after realizing urgency he demanded 3000 BDT more and threatened by saying "if you even go official or unofficial procedure in any other way, it will go through me and I will see how it can be approved." eventually forced to pay in total of 15000 BDT and corrected the NID just within 1 hour after that.
