The land is under the jurisdiction of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), and any transfer of possession requires prior permission from the DC authority. I applied for land valuation assessment and namjari (mutation) in 2024. The DC Office subsequently forwarded the matter to the concerned Regional Land Office for preparation of the assessment report. To expedite the process, I contacted a university senior who is currently working at the concerned Land Office and sought his assistance as a reference. Through him, I was introduced to a person at the Solosahar Land Office, to whom I paid approximately BDT 20,000 for assistance in processing the matter. Till today there is no progress of my file.
