However, after 2/3 days I got a phone call from Kulaura thana. They called me at kulaura police station, I went there with all documents for verification. The computer operator (maybe constable) demanded directly if i give him some “cha panir tk” he will make my process smooth, otherwise it will be rejected. Then I gave him 1000 bdt. paid the NID name correction bribery for my mother-in-law's NID due to urgent passport renewal. The officer initially demanded 12000 BDT, then after realizing urgency he demanded 3000 BDT more and threatened by saying "if you even go official or unofficial procedure in any other way, it will go through me and I will see how it can be approved." eventually forced to pay in total of 15000 BDT and corrected the NID just within 1 hour after that.
