Following a regular factory inspection, the labor inspector issued a CAP with 28 corrective action points, including several worker safety concerns. Afterwards, a report was intentionally prepared highlighting a number of serious findings that could have significant financial consequences for the factory. We were then asked to pay BDT 12 lakh, with the warning that failure to do so could jeopardize the renewal of our factory license and may even lead to a temporary suspension of operations.

paid the NID name correction bribery for my mother-in-law's NID due to urgent passport renewal. The officer initially demanded 12000 BDT, then after realizing urgency he demanded 3000 BDT more and threatened by saying "if you even go official or unofficial procedure in any other way, it will go through me and I will see how it can be approved." eventually forced to pay in total of 15000 BDT and corrected the NID just within 1 hour after that.
