I am an Assistant Professor at a public university in Bangladesh. I received a fully funded PhD scholarship from Australia and therefore applied for study leave from my university. The university authorities approved my deputation leave after reviewing all the required documents. However, before I can travel abroad, the Ministry of Education must issue a Government Order (GO) based on the university's approval and supporting documents. The requirement for a GO is mainly an administrative procedure, as the university authorities are fully aware of the current circumstances of the respective teacher. I tried to collect it without money but failed.

paid the NID name correction bribery for my mother-in-law's NID due to urgent passport renewal. The officer initially demanded 12000 BDT, then after realizing urgency he demanded 3000 BDT more and threatened by saying "if you even go official or unofficial procedure in any other way, it will go through me and I will see how it can be approved." eventually forced to pay in total of 15000 BDT and corrected the NID just within 1 hour after that.
ব্যাংকের হাউজ লোন পাওয়ার জন্য আবেদন করি। কিন্তু নির্দিষ্ট অংকের টাকা ছাড়া হাউজ লোন করে দেয়া সম্ভব না বলে জানায়।হাউস লোনটি আমার খুবই প্রয়োজন, এজন্য আমি শেষমেষ বাধ্য হয়ে টাকা দিয়েছি।
