I applied for the passport issuance and the police from Dhaka nicely verified my police verification. However, as I also need to verify it from my home district there the police called me to the station and asked me for bribe. I told him that I traveled and need to go back to Dhaka and I don't have that much money as he demanded 1000 taka. I refused and he said "Give me whatever you have, I will go for prayer(namaz)". So, I have approximately 558 - 560 taka I can't remember very well. He took it and went towards the mosque.

paid the NID name correction bribery for my mother-in-law's NID due to urgent passport renewal. The officer initially demanded 12000 BDT, then after realizing urgency he demanded 3000 BDT more and threatened by saying "if you even go official or unofficial procedure in any other way, it will go through me and I will see how it can be approved." eventually forced to pay in total of 15000 BDT and corrected the NID just within 1 hour after that.
ব্যাংকের হাউজ লোন পাওয়ার জন্য আবেদন করি। কিন্তু নির্দিষ্ট অংকের টাকা ছাড়া হাউজ লোন করে দেয়া সম্ভব না বলে জানায়।হাউস লোনটি আমার খুবই প্রয়োজন, এজন্য আমি শেষমেষ বাধ্য হয়ে টাকা দিয়েছি।
