Went to update the factory license and have been paying Tk. 5,000 to Tk. 10,000 each year to get the factory license updated for the last couple of years. This year, we had to pay a total of Tk. 25,000 to get the Factory License updated, just because a new inspector (—) and other colleagues got appointed. They wanted Tk. 30,000 but when we asked why the huge increase should be paid, they answered that they have not come to the seat (designation) for free as well and indirectly threatened us by saying that they we would face unnecessary problems if they come to visit our premises. Had no options other than paying the amount and just get the work done.
