Whenever I visit land office located in CTG to pay land Tax of my own, the tax on book and paper show 30-60 Tk or 100 Tk at max. In time of paying that tax the officer demanded 500 per payment and calling extra fees as "Cha nasta Khoroch". And after bargaing, the amount stood at 300 tk and if you disagree to pay cha nashta khoroch then you will never be able to pay tax in general criteria.
They provide a detailed schedule outlining specific times and locations for various areas. People arrived carrying photocopies of all necessary land documents, such as titles, registration papers, and survey deeds, along with cash amounts for bribes. The process was so meticulously organized that it closely resembled an official government procedure, with orderly lines of landowners waiting their turn. By leveraging influence from high-ranking officials, I was able to negotiate and settle the bribery fee at 20,000 BDT. The location of the event is Atti Bazar in Keraniganj, Dhaka district.
We have submitted ours documents to inherit my fathers all lands among ourselves as he died long before. Land office demand 30000 bdt and we already paid 10k, rest will be paid after completion.

After applying for our land mutation online, we waited a week for the scheduled hearing. Upon appearing before the AC Land officer, we were informed that our application could not be approved without land ownership documents dating back to 1963. Demanding documentation from 1963 ,years before the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, everything feels like a setup. Since we do not possess these pre independence records, a middleman claiming to be a journalist from Jamuna TV approached us, offering to resolve the issue in exchange for a bribe. Left with no viable alternative to navigate the bureaucracy and settle our property rights, we are forced to pay.

my land tax shows in website is 1240 tk, but when i go office and ask for paid, the officer(scamer) said it is 15500 tk , also i am see the website here now 15500, i am shock, however i am paid total amount, then he give me 1240 tk receipt, i am seeing why 1240 tk , then he left the office
I went to the Mirpur 10 Land Office to pay the land tax (khajna) for an apartment. After arriving, I was told that a minor correction was needed because the area name was incorrect in the khatian (land record). I was asked to pay BDT 12,000 for making this correction. When I asked whether the application could be submitted online, I was told that the server was down. However, within an hour of paying the money, the application was submitted online.
Went for mutation, demanded 20k. Gave 15k. Still holding on 3 months now.

অনলাইনে নামজারির আবেদন করার পর শুনানিতে গেলে সার্ভেয়ার এবং সহকারী কর্মকর্তা সরাসরি ৫০ হাজার টাকা দাবি করেন। টাকা না দিলে ফাইল বাতিল করে দেওয়া হবে বলে হুমকি দেন।
