I told them I needed the passport as fast as possible since I had a flight to china to catch by the end of the month for a really important study tour. (I applied for express delivery 48 pages, 10 years, 8050 BDT, delivery within 7 working days) They claimed that I have filled many info wrongly and thus I need to apply again for the passport. Means I have to pay the 8K bdt again. They even told me that there are no ways I can correct "the infos I have wrongly written" and the only way is to apply again. But I required that and after asking around, I was directed to visit Paltan Kor Circle-12. I laid out my query to the lead female officer (around her 50s), she said that it required them to print each of them and sign them. However, they would be charging 2k per signature and stamp for each tax paper. I told them to provide me with a receipt. They refused and said, "Apne egula kaaj koran nai tai apne jaanen na". I left without creating a ruckus, leaving it to Allah for the capital punishment.

I estimated 500-1000. I was driving along Kemal Ataturk Avenue from Badda and I was stopped and was told that I horned a while back in a horn free zone. As far as I remeber, there were "No Horn" roadsign along the road. I was told that it will go to court and I have to pay 30,000 taka at court if I wanted my license back. And asked if I have anything to say. They took my license. As I did not know what the law actually states, I called my uncle (who is also in DMP). He said there were no such thing and talked to the traffic sergeant. The sergeant became angry after the call even though he returned my license and let me go, asked me repeatedly why I had to call someone.

My father got a plot from Rajuk in purbachal new model town back in 1999. He passed away in 2018.
