বিগত বছরের খাজনা বকেয়া ছিল ২০ টাকা কিন্তু সেটা অনলাইনে পেমেন্ট করার সিস্টেম থাকলেও ইউনিয়ন ভূমি অফিসের এপ্রুভাল না পাওয়ায় ক্লিয়ার করা যাচ্ছিলো না। এই ক্লিয়ারেন্স পেতে তারা ২০০০০/- দাবি করে। এই ঘটনা প্রত্যেকের সাথে ঘটছে যারা বকেয়া খাজনা পরিশোধ করতে যাচ্ছেন। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে নওগাঁ জেলার ধামইরহাট উপজেলার আগ্রাদ্বিগুন ইউনিয়ন ভূমি অফিসে। আমি একজনের কাছে জমি কিনেছি ২৫ শতাংশ। এবং বিক্রেতা যখন খাজনা পরিশোধ করতে যায় তখন এই সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হন। শেষ পর্যন্ত তারা বিক্রেতার কাছে ১৫০০০/- আদায় করে এবং পরে কর আদায়ের রশিদে দেখা যায় বকেয়া খাজনা ছিল মাত্র ২০/-

My renewal application was refused more than once for minor errors (Infact the issue might not be considered an error at all). A small photo copy and printing shop outside the passport office offered they may help for a certain amount. Apparently they have connection inside the office.
