Digital Number Plate collection

SMS came from BRTA to collect digital number plate. Zone was BRTA purbachal. There was a long line of cars and some local man who are definitely in league with BRTA office offered they can bypass the long line and can collect the number plate within 10 mins. Was in hurry and didn't have time to wait for 2 hours in a line, so paid the amount. The BRTA office definitely delays the process wo that people get forced to pay the bribe.

land mutation approval

After applying for our land mutation online, we waited a week for the scheduled hearing. Upon appearing before the AC Land officer, we were informed that our application could not be approved without land ownership documents dating back to 1963. Demanding documentation from 1963 ,years before the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, everything feels like a setup. Since we do not possess these pre independence records, a middleman claiming to be a journalist from Jamuna TV approached us, offering to resolve the issue in exchange for a bribe. Left with no viable alternative to navigate the bureaucracy and settle our property rights, we are forced to pay.

Birth Certificate Issue

I took all the required document properly but somehow it was not enough. For my Newborn's Birth Certificate i need to show my fathers holding tax. Even after showing that he kept me waiting for days. then asked for 1000tk. After giving the money, he asked me to come next day. This cycle followed 3times until i finally received the certificate. Baffled how this country is running its civil services.

‎আজকের ৮ মার্চ ২০২৬ বিকাল ৩ টার আমি আর — যাই কাশিনাথপুর এলাহী সুপার মার্কেটে — এর ফোন কিনতে। তো আমরা রীতিমতো ফোন কিনার জন্য দোকানে গেলে ফোন পেয়েও যাই এবং এক ফোন থেকে  অন্য  যে ফোন কেনা হয়েছে সেই ফোনে ডাটা ট্রান্সফার করতে সময় লাগবে সেই জন্য আমরা সেই দোকানের ভিতর বসে ফোনের ডাটা গুলো ট্রান্সফার করা শুরু করি। ‎ ‎দোকানে ঢুকে ডাটা ট্রান্সফার করার একটু পর একটা ছেলে এসে দোকানদারকে জিজ্ঞেস করতেছে যে ভাই ৬ হাজার টাকার মধ্যে কোন ফোন আছে নাকি। সেই ছেলে দুই থেকে তিনবার দোকানে আসা যাওয়া করার পর তিনজন পুলিশ আসে সিভিল ড্রেসে তারা এসে দোকানদার জিজ্ঞেস করতেছে তারা একটা ফোন বিক্রি করেছিলো একটা ক্রেতার কাছে এবং সেই ফোনটা নাকি একটা মার্ডার মামলার আসামির। একথা বলতে বলতে দোকানদের কে বলতেছে ফোনের কাগজ পত্র দেখ

জমি খারিজ সংক্রান্ত

আমাদের বিভিন্ন জমিজমা খারিজ সংক্রান্ত কারণে এবং কিছু সমস্যা নিরসনে আমার family কে ঘুষ দিতে হয়েছিল। সঠিক টাকাটা জানা নাই, তবে যা যা জানা আছে তাই দিলাম। উল্লেখ্য নিম্নের টাকা গুলো ঘুষ+fee. আরো অনেক টাকার কথা উল্লেখ করা নাই। ভূমি অফিস তো, তাই এত হিসাব রাখা নাই, আর ঘটনাটা 2 বছর আগের। • 3000,5000,1000 প্রস্তাব খরচ • খতিয়ান পাওয়া বাবদ 15000 • 12000 খতিয়ান পাওয়া (অন্য আরেকটা) • 12000+2000 খতিয়ান উঠানো • Case 40000 উল্লেখ্য, আরো অনেক টাকার হিসাব দেওয়া হয় নাই‌। Estimated 150000

জন্মসনদ বাংলা নাম সংশোধন

আমার মেয়ের বার্থ সার্টিফিকেট এ বাংলা নাম ভুল আসে। এটা ঠিক করতে দিলে তারা কাজটা না করে ঝুলিয়ে রাখে। পরে টাকা দাবি করে। না দিলে কাজ হবে না বলে স্পষ্ট জানিয়ে দেয়। পরে বাধ্য হয়ে টাকা দিয়ে কাজটি করাই। এটা ঢাকা মহাখালী বাস স্টান্ডের পাশে যে সিটি করপোরেশন এর অফিস, সেখানে ঘটেছে।

E apostle - Marriage certificate of parents

As expats we require various documents furnished from Bangladesh for various purposes in the country of our residence. To obtain a document in Bangladesh can be a nightmare. For the show we have all these digitized proceses but none of them actually work. I applied for the e apostlization of the marriage certificate of my parents online (didnt work) and then in person (rejected). The document is already notorized and attested by the MOFA. But since this new e apostle system has been introduced it is mandatory to get all the documents apostled. They are asking for 15000 bdt.

Police Verification for Job Confirmation

I am currently working in a Govt. owned autonomous power plant. After joining, a police verification process was initiated by the office as required. The officer visited my permanent address at Patuakhali, as only our caretaker lives there he only checked out the house, asked some info and left. Few days later he came to Barishal where my parents live in their owned house (probably found address from info given by caretaker) unannounced. Then he show the village house photos and was talking about family with my father. Although he did not ask for the bribe but he implied he visited here and there with his bike. And my father gave him the money so that the verification process doesn’t hamper.

NID correction

They asked 18000BDT just for a small nid correction even though I have all the papers they asked for but they rejected my online application and they said they may do it again, I cannot do anything about this Wrong : — Correction: — This correction category is “ক”. I would easily agree to paying that amount If I didn’t have any papers they asked for but eventually I have to agree because there’s no other way I can correct his nid

Flat Mutation Area Correction

I went to the Mirpur 10 Land Office to pay the land tax (khajna) for an apartment. After arriving, I was told that a minor correction was needed because the area name was incorrect in the khatian (land record). I was asked to pay BDT 12,000 for making this correction. When I asked whether the application could be submitted online, I was told that the server was down. However, within an hour of paying the money, the application was submitted online.

আমি হাতিরঝিল দিয়ে আসতেছিলাম। অল্প একটু জায়গা ম্যাবি ১০ ফিট হবে ভুল চলে গিয়েছি। রাস্তা ফাঁকা থাকায় আমি গাড়ি ঘুরিয়ে ঠিক রাস্তায় চলে আসি। এটা দেখে ট্রাফিক পুলিশ —। দেখে তার সাগরেদ দিয়ে আমার কাছ থেকে ৫০০ টাকা নেয়। আমার পেপার্স আটকে রেখে। লোকেশনঃ হাতিরঝিল দিয়ে পুলিশ প্লাজা যাওয়ার আগের ৩ রাস্তার মোড়ে।

Salary during maternity Leave

The office clerk named — of Upozilla Primary Education Office at Companiganj always charge bribe directly or indirectly from every teachers regard any kind of service, like, Joining, increment, return from medical leave, for Crediting salary when on maternity Leave. in my case, i had to pay the bribe for my salary when i was in maternity leave.

Name Spelling Correction

If you apply for correcting your name in all Education certificates, you have to apply to Secondary Education Board, Dhaka. The queue is about 3 years long. And asks for unnecessary documents like PSC certificate correction which exam doesn't even exist now. After correcting PSC certificate which took 5 months, i went before the secondary education board. They asked for 15K to arrange a appointment in a week. I refused. Its 3 years now, did not get an appointment.

Fire License

I have a tiles business. I don't know why I need fire License as there are no fire hazards product in my shop. Still people from fire service office scaring me that they can send mobile court and sealed off my business if I don't get the fire License. And to make the fire License I have to pay 10000 taka. There is no obvious chart or can't find online the actual amount. On e fire License I can't find in which category I will applied
