SB Police demanded 1500 BDT for verification needed for passport application
In may i applied for a police clearance online. There was never any case against me, my profile was solid. I submitted every document they asked online. However, after 2/3 days I got a phone call from Kulaura thana. They called me at kulaura police station, I went there with all documents for verification. The computer operator (maybe constable) demanded directly if i give him some “cha panir tk” he will make my process smooth, otherwise it will be rejected. Then I gave him 1000 bdt. His number +880 17**-****02.
The situation occured during land mutation process at baunia land office. My plot is in mirpur 12. Though i had every document required, an official requested an amount of 45000 tk. i rejected that proposal anyway. But the problem is - the work is lagging a lot due to not engaging them with bribe. আইনজীবী হওয়ার আগেই দুর্নীতির শিকার হতে হলো। বার কাউন্সিলের ওয়েবসাইটে সব কাগজ জমা দেওয়ার পরও আবার অফিসে গিয়ে সব জমা দিতে হয়। ওদের সার্ভার কাজ করে না। অফিসের একজন কম্পিউটার অপারেটর আমার কাছে টাকা চেয়েছে, ৩০০০ টাকা দিতে হয়েছে। সার্ভার বন্ধ থাকলেও সে অফিসে বসে আমার সব কাজ করে দিলো।

The police officer said that he had called my number and my father's number several times, but neither of us received any calls from him or anyone else regarding passport verification. Later, he demanded 1,000 taka to expedite the process. As it was urgent for me, I did not think much about it and paid the amount.
I went to bcc for my real estate plan processing and the guy asks for 5 crore to clear the plan and he said he would support me and take care for me anywhere but i directly refused and this got him upset and warned me that he will see how i take the permission without giving him the bribe
They called us and said that officer won't sign the hard copy unless you give money. And thus they filled the form from me 5 times. Each form fillup took 2-3 hours. Finally i contacted AC land sir and gave my introduction, then it got signed.
On a CNG, I was heading to my university campus, that day. Then, when his phone rang he parked his vehicle to recieve the call and trust me it took at most 10 seconds for him to hang up. All of a sudden, a traffic sergeant came before my CNG and asked for his documents which were all good. The traffic sergeant demanded ৳5000 for not to charge him with a false case of NO PARKING in front of me. Also, the officer asked me to leave. Instead, I convinced the officer, "If u charge him with a false case, he'll stop driving and to pay your due, he'll hijack you anytime. You'll suffer, I swear." The other constables asked him to let my driver go and thus I kinda saved him from bribing this moron.
Few days ago at approximately 6:00 PM, our office vehicle was stopped by a traffic sergeant opposite Police Plaza, Gulshan. The officer asked which office the vehicle belonged to and asked the driver to have the office contacted. During the interaction, the officer indicated that a weekly arrangement should be made with the office. No specific amount was mentioned to us at the time. We did not agree to or make any such payment or arrangement. I am reporting this incident because the request appeared to be for a recurring unofficial benefit in connection with allowing the office vehicle to operate without such issues.

As I am a resident of Mymensingh district, passport officer refused to process my passport preparation at Tangail passport office. He told me to go to Mymensingh office whereas I had already paid the passport fee online by selecting Tangail regional passport office. However, a broaker standing outside the office asked for bribe to process the work in this office at that day without hassle. I had not enough time to run here and there to complete my work. So, I had to pay 1800 tk after a lot of bargaining. Then, it went smooth. That's how passport office works.

My application through online process ,but i have to wait around 6 month,no hope. . Then I go to the office,found an officer,he takes 3000 taka and next week my certificate name correction done.
সরকারি হাসপাতালে ডাক্তারদের পর্যবেক্ষণে বা সাময়িকভাবে রোগীদের রাখার জন্য নির্ধারিত কিছু বেড দালালরা অবৈধভাবে ভাড়া দিয়ে থাকে। আমাকে ৫০০ টাকা দেওয়ার প্রস্তাব দেওয়া হলেও আমি তা প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছি।
